The end of days

So when I launched the agency, I joined Twitter.

That’s because if you don’t people assume you are so lost in prehistory you don’t have opposable thumbs. I did it for work so people can see that I get social media.

I do. I get it. I can do it. It’s done.

I do it for clients. I network through the ether. I did it at a major media event and everyone was very happy with me. I know RT isn’t Radio Times and DM isn’t the name for what my husband calls ‘your feminist boots’.

I’ve even written a play about it.

Back in the real world, though, no-one who knows me is fooled.

‘Sharon Wright is on Twitter!’ messaged my friend, the author Lollie Barr.

‘The end of the world is nigh!’
